Founded in 2004 by Ryan Green, University Movers started with a mission to simplify the moving process and become the leading moving company in the Auburn, AL area.

Key Milestones

2004: Ryan Green started University Movers with one truck. The goal was simple: provide reliable moves at fair prices. Early work focused on local residential moves without marketing—just honest service and on-time delivery.
2005–2010: The company gained clients mostly through referrals. Operations improved steadily by fixing mistakes quickly. Transparency and integrity became core values.
2011: Commercial and office moves were added. Meeting strict schedules became essential. Training and process improvements helped handle new demands.
2014: Customers requested full-service options. Packing, unpacking, and storage services were introduced. Inventory of packing materials and storage space grew.
2017: Item insurance became standard. GPS and shipment tracking improved logistics. Every move gained better visibility and control.
2020: Contactless estimates and bookings launched. Safety protocols like masks and distancing ensured continued operations.
2022: A new website with online booking and real-time tracking reduced errors and calls.
2024: University Movers operates across several states. We are not the biggest player, nor do we chase volume with discounts. We focus on dependable moves: local and long-distance, with packing, unpacking, storage, and insured shipments. Transparent pricing with no pressure sales.
